Who we are
Welcome to TMC Carpentry. We are a Hamilton-based carpentry business that provides exceptional carpentry services throughout the Waikato. We pride ourselves on delivering carpentry services that are built on a foundation of skill, experience, and dedication.
Our Director Thomas is originally from Ireland, with a family legacy in the building industry. He grew up surrounded by the art of carpentry under the tutelage of both his uncle and grandfather. As a child, he would sit in the middle of the floor, playing with all the offcuts from cabinets and other stuff they were building.
With a natural affinity for the trade, he started working on building projects in Ireland when he was 15 and then came to New Zealand and learned the New Zealand way of doing things. Having spent nearly a decade in New Zealand and working on many high-profile projects, he has over 21 years of industry experience.
He is supported by a team of ten talented builders with local and overseas experience. “Our company culture values continuous learning and development, which is why we foster an environment of growth for all our employees – whether they are experts or are still honing their craft. What we do
Our team specialises in a wide range of services, including erecting and building framing, laying joists and flooring, and handling all finishing work, including hanging doors and installing joinery. We’re also experts in box gutter installation, wall strapping, and steelwork.
